
RE-START project aims to improve the learning opportunities of women who want to re-enter the labour market after staying at home for family duties. It will help them in this specific phase of their professional career by supporting and orientating them and building their capacities in regards to organizing their professional and private duties, seeking for available support systems and upskilling offers to improve their employability.
The RE-START project is an Erasmus+ KA204 desinged to specifically address those disadvantaged women and provide them specific support tools which they might even use on their mobile in order to empower them and assist them in the orientation and re-entering process. The project objective is to develop 3 online training modules and 1 motivational module, which answer the a.m. needs.
• Raising awareness of the need to find a job to have own income, not only for the moment, but also to avoid later pension pay gap.
• Raising awareness on how to avoid the risk of social exclusion and poverty.
• Motivate them to think about their visions and values and contrast them to role models reproduced in society, to stand on their own, to develop an action plan, and to take decisions.
• Built self-confidence and empowerment.
• Raising awareness of their own needs and resources for re-entering the labour market, of upskilling opportunities, and about their labour rights.
• Raising awareness on the available childcare services, and on how to find an adequate mentor.
• Building professional networking skills for support and empowerment to re-join the labour market, and mentoring skills.
