The RADIAL project aims to promote social inclusion and environmental awareness by developing two tools that can benefit third-country nationals (TCNs) in Europe. First, RADIAL will develop the Trainer’s Manual ‘Recycled Art Workshops.’ The manual will equip trainers with the required environmental knowledge and practical advice to conduct the trainings to disadvantaged learners they work with and improve their knowledge on environmental principles. In the second phase of the project, RADIAL will provide an Entrepreneurship e-course for Disadvantaged Learners through which TCNs will acquire legal knowledge, business skills, and practical instructions and guidelines to become entrepreneurs.
RADIAL has set a series of goals to be achieved throughout the project. The pre-defined aims of RADIAL are: – Provide special training material and resources to AEP to use in teaching disadvantaged learners. – Develop tools that promote entrepreneurship among disadvantaged groups through environmental awareness. – Contribute to the social inclusion of disadvantaged adults (migrants, refugees, ethnic minorities, TCNs) by providing recycled art training and guidance. – Support the European Green Deal priority by enhancing knowledge and understanding of sustainable green transition in the European societies. – Create environmentally respectful habits and opportunities for civic engagement of disadvantaged groups. – Strengthen the competences of adult education providers, developing innovative pedagogical approach on recycling, facilitating their work with TCNs/ethnic minorities in multicultural and non-formal learning environments. – Improve the cooperation between civil society organisations, public authorities and the private sector to develop innovative tools for the social inclusion of disadvantaged adults. – Promote the general public’s mobilisation in the integration process of TCNs, refugees and ethnic minorities.
