Innovation Vocational Excellence in Tech – INVESTech

Description

The INVESTech project aims to establish and develop a transnational cooperation platform for Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in ICT across Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Lithuania. By fostering collaboration between education, the labor market, and other stakeholders, INVESTech promotes innovation, skills development, green transition, and social inclusion in VET. The project employs a bottom-up approach to vocational excellence, leveraging and expanding existing skills ecosystems to adapt to evolving economic and social needs. Utilizing the Quintuple Innovation Helix Framework, INVESTech enhances cooperation among academia, industry, the public sector, civil society, and the environment. This broad, open platform aims to elevate regional and national efforts to a European level, aligning with EU VET policies and actions to ensure high-quality, effective vocational training.

Objectives

  1. Establish Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in Košice (Slovakia), Attica (Greece), Sofia (Bulgaria), Nicosia (Cyprus), and Klaipeda (Lithuania).
  2. Develop a Sustainable Platform for International Collaboration to facilitate cooperation and exchange of best practices among CoVEs and stakeholders.
  3. Promote Innovation in VET by encouraging collaboration between education, labour market, and other stakeholders, incorporating innovative technologies and practices.
  4. Support Green Transition and Social Inclusion
  5. Enhance Skills Development: Provide targeted training programmes and online courses for VET students and professionals across EQF levels 4-7.
  6.  Implement the Quintuple Innovation Helix Framework: Foster partnerships among academia, industry, public sector, civil society, and natural environment, aligning CoVEs with regional smart specialisation strategies.
  7. Increase Capacity for International Collaboration: Develop tools and activities to build capacity for international work and create synergies with other EU networks and CoVEs.
