augMENTOR is an ambitious project that aims to revolutionize the field of education by harnessing the power of augmented intelligence. The project brings together human expertise and cutting-edge technologies to create a transformative learning experience. By leveraging advancements in Pedagogical Design, Creative Pedagogy, Explainable Artificial Intelligence, and Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, augMENTOR develops customized and collaborative learning paths that promote essential competencies for the 21st century, such as communication, collaboration, digital literacy, critical thinking, and creativity. Through its artificial intelligence-boosted toolkit, the platform provides stakeholders with explainable recommendations, enabling smart search for educational resources and the creation of personalized learning profiles. Students can take control of their learning, while teachers can effectively monitor student progress and receive training to embrace emerging technologies. Moreover, augMENTOR offers guidelines to support informed decision-making, enabling stakeholders to address educational difficulties, shape individual learning paths, and identify gifted and talented students, thus enabling them to realize their full potential. The augMENTOR project represents a significant advancement in education, empowering learners and educators alike through the seamless integration of technology and human intelligence.
