
The goal of PINOLO project is to provide unemployed artists with specific skills. It aims at fostering employability, socio-educational and personal development, and, in consequence, participation in social life. More specifically, the ambition of the PINOLO project is to provide unemployed artists with important skills and competences on entrepreneurial mind-set, critical thinking, and creativity, which will follow the individuals throughout their lives, will improve their employability chances and will inspire them to undertake social entrepreneurial initiative, in order to be included in social, and, especially, professional life.
The objectives of the project are the following: – To introduce artists to a unique Training Material and help them appreciate the value of experiential learning and adult education – To offer specialization to professional artists, who are unemployed – To provide them with the tools to venture into social entrepreneurial initiatives and employment opportunities – To inspire them to continue experimenting with new techniques and improving their skills and qualifications – To influence policy makers around Europe, by improving the conditions in the labour market and create new job opportunities – To influence the entire community, by setting Art as one of the best ways of expression, which can also be used in educational environments – To raise awareness about the discrimination that unemployed people face in the society and foster their social, economical and professionals inclusion.
