NESEI aims to support the European Commission to establish, consolidate and foster the role of a new network of social innovators and entrepreneurs within the social innovation community in Europe, and to support learning and cooperation activities among its members and helping them bring their innovative solutions to the market.
The NeSEI will contribute to strengthening the social dimension of innovative initiatives undertaken in the framework of the EU industrial policy, taking into consideration amongst others, the need of inclusivity and sustainability in the economic recovery and the green and digital transitions. Specifically, the Network will be focused on the following areas:
• Diversity and inclusion.
• Social economy and entrepreneurship.
• Environment and sustainability.
• Public policy and citizenship.
• Rural and urban development.
• Education and skills development.
• Justice and public safety.
• Technology and digital.
