
FACE project aims to foster employability among disadvantaged youth and contribute to sustainable development and social inclusion by promoting SCCE education and creating synergies between education, training and youth stakeholders with organisations in the cultural and creative sectors. The FACE tools equip Youth Educators and stakeholders to support young adults to assume their own creativity and potential in the cultural sector, to acquire basics of cultural entrepreneurship and be comfortable working with the new resources and environments. Cultural Entrepreneur skills and competences are identified and FACE toolkit is developed to address them and help young adults to put their cultural project into practice.
FACE project has the following objectives:
- To use the methodology of local working groups (LWG) to investigate skills needed by cultural entrepreneurs and to draw a Methodological Guide comprising of Didactical notes, Cultural Entrepreneurship characteristics, Management of cultural
enterprise and Implementation Strategy as well as piloting and assessing the Guide. - To develop a blended learning course with a Learning Outcome Matrix (LOM). The course will mainly address youth
educators and stakeholders’ staff supporting young people bringing into life their cultural entrepreneurial initiatives. - A transnational training of trainers workshop and piloting in all participating countries to evaluate the course.
- To build a platform containing e-learning materials and FACE toolkits e.g. forum for exchanging experiences and getting
help, repository of resources etc., which will be pilot tested in all participating countries. - To ensure the continuity and expansion of the project results after the project ends, through dissemination and exploitation
efforts during the whole of projects’ lifetime and beyond.
